Stasiun Gambir in Central Jakarta is crowded with homebound travelers ahead of Eid al-Fitr. Travelers are seen carrying gifts from Jakarta for their families in their hometowns. Detikcom, on Thursday (March 27, 2025) at 5:20 PM local time, observed travelers waiting for their train schedules at the south side of Gambir Station. They were lugging medium to large-sized suitcases and bags. Some passengers brought gifts in boxes, while others hired porters to assist with carrying their belongings onto the train.
